What A Day..

Today was a fun one, for sure. Ron and I went to pick up the RX-7, and took it for a ride. Granted, the clutch line did break in half and started leaking fluid all over the place... but hey, we got it fixed! We were driving down the road, and Ron starts pumping the clutch.

"This clutch is really loose!"

I look over.

"Uh-oh..."

The fluid was drained and Ron couldn't shift it into gear. Woops!!! We were able to get it to a gas station, buy some brake fluid, and fix the problem, though. We headed back home to see if Ron had a spare clutch line, and... Surprise, surprise!! There was none to be found. By that time, the air had bled out of the clutch, though, so it was tighter than it had been before. He looked over at me.

"Should we still go up the canyons?"

"Uh.... Yeah.."

We drove to Big Cottonwood Canyon, and had an absolute blast! (Poker night had been postponed.) RX-7's handle like a dream. We took some great pictures, too! Here they are!!

Ron REALLY enjoying his new car!

The hillside up Parley's Way. (Ron took a wrong turn...)

The cloudy sky at the mouth of Big Cottonwood.

The sunset on the way to Big Cottonwood.

He said it reminded him of something in the ocean..

Talk about breathtaking.

Er... Damn telephone lines..

Taken while driving!

And look!! A telephone pole!!! Er.. and a pretty sunset.

Just look at those sunrays...

The setting sun, and the purple sky..

Again, taken while driving, but look at the pretty tree!

Looking down into a gulley near the top of the canyon.

Look at this nifty tree!!!

Look at this blurry nifty tree!

Another day closes..

Another night begins...

The quarter moon.

It's trying to hide...

Hope you enjoyed your trip through the canyon!! Next time will be during the day, so the pictures will be much better. :)
