Slumber parties sure have changed!

So do you remember way back when? You are six or seven years old and your friend has invited you over for a slumber party! You are so excited. You come straight home Friday after school, pull out your little pink backpack and start packing for your overnight stay. Clothes for tomorrow? Check. Toothbrush? Check. Favorite video (VHS, of course) just in case they want to watch it? Check. Stuffed animal? Check. Your mom reminds you to add underwear and socks and you throw those in as well. You grab your pillow and your sleeping bag and you are ready to go! You get there, eat too many sweets, watch a movie and claim that you are going to stay up all night! By midnight your friend is drowsing, by one you are both out like a light!

Those were the good ol' days, right?

Wrong.

There is something to be said for a good old fashioned slumber party when you are that age, but we are adults now! We get something ten times better!

My roommate, Dennis, has a friend at work, Ashlee, who was having a Slumber Party last night. Slumber Party capitalized? You betcha! Slumber Parties is a company that distributes things of a more... *cough*... risque nature. Lotions, creams, oils, lingerie, toys.. You name it, they have it!

It started at about eight o'clock with Crystal introducing herself and the company. The product demo is so much fun! You get to taste the edibles, try the glitter, wear a few choice creams and gels. I won't go into details but it is just an all around good time!

And on the plus side... I'm hosting one! November 14th. It's going to be a blast and a half. Can't wait.
